To Whom It May Concern,
Please excuse Brita from school today. Her heart hurts, and while the doctor assures us that it is not contagious, a little neighbor boy has come down with the same symptoms. I feel its best if she just stays home to rest today.
Could you please have one of Brita's many friends drop off her assignments, a big bottle of Pinot Noir and a carton of Moose Tracks? Thank you for your understanding.
