Best Brunch Ever

I'm such a lucky girl. For Easter, Nick and I went to my favorite restaurant on earth--Beatrice and Woodsley. We first stumbled upon this place by accident one night when we couldn't get in for dinner at Deluxe, another great Denver eatery. I fell in love with the small plates of various meats and cheeses. And, all the wine comes in tiny carafes with adorable brown paper tags listing origins and flavors.

Walking in to B&W is like walking into an Aspen fairy grove. The lighting is yellow and warm, the seating round and intimate, and the food...

Brunch was a million courses of goodness highlighted by hot cross buns, shrimp and grits, potato pancakes with apples and tiny lemon cream puffs. There were pimms cups and early grey gin martinis. It was decadent and lovely--the best way to celebrate Easter, in my opinion.

What an ENTRANCING-looking place! I am in love! I even printed off their menus, they are so delightful looking and sounding...

P.S. A recipe you posted on your blog a couple of years ago is now a regular rotation item in our family's favourites...your lovely rice salad when it's 'too hot to eat in Arizona'...

Another P.S. (a P.P.S., I guess that is): I see your email is not listed, so I will say this here - I found your blog through Ciboulette a few years ago, and have enjoyed it since...just wondering if you are interested in sending me your email in case you want an invite to see mine?

Have a lovely day :)
